📖 How to Play & Rules – Checkers
- Checkers is played on the dark squares of an 8×8 board. Each player starts with 12 discs.
- Regular pieces move diagonally forward one square to an empty dark square.
- Mandatory Jumps & Multi-Jumps: If an opponent's piece is adjacent and the square beyond it is empty, you must jump over and capture it. If another jump is available from the landing square, you continue jumping in the same turn!
- Reaching the opponent's back rank crowns your piece into a King (👑), allowing it to move and jump both forward and backward.
- Capture all enemy pieces or leave your opponent with no legal moves to win.
💡 Strategy Tips & Tricks
- Guard your back row: Keeping pieces on your home rank prevents your opponent from crowning Kings early.
- Set up 2-for-1 traps: Use the mandatory capture rule to force your opponent into a position where you jump two of their pieces in return.
